Winston-Salem Open 2014 – Heavy Topsin and a Little Black Dress

Once again we are covering the Winston Salem Open for our friends over at Camel City Dispatch. Please check in daily to see what is happening with the open from our less than professional perspective.

I arrived at the Wake Forrest Tennis Complex on Friday afternoon. My path from the parking lot led me to a small office on the first floor of the Bridger Field House. In this makeshift office I was greeted warmly by two women volunteers wearing matching white polo’s who would grant me the access to aimlessly venture around the grounds of the complex for the next week as the 2014 Winston-Salem Open gets underway. I placed my media credential around my neck and took my traditional first stroll out to the practice courts.
