The indifference

                                                perched

                upon
the ledges of your

                                eyes;

like the gargoyles

                of
Notre-Dame

subject to

                                                the tyrannical caress of time;

                                permeates the cloak –

under which

                this

                  forlorn silhouette

      hides

                                   painting chimeras
as

                   truths

[we] solemnly disguised

                                          as lies;
ignoring [elusively illusive] reality:

                                                                                                reflections

are the cries we mute

inside.
